Chevalier Charles Coulombe on Communism

I am reminded of the famous Pogo cartoon, by Walt Kelly, in which Pogo says 'We have met the enemy, and he is us'.

This video is from three days ago and, after some trenchant remarks on how society has changed as we feared it would 50 years ago if the communists took over, Mr Frankini remarks that he won't comment on the Vatican's impending betrayal of the Faithful Catholics of China. The Chevalier has no such reservations. He points out that this is not the first time that such faithful Catholics have been thrown under the bus by the Vatican. He cites the betrayal of the Cristeros to the Red government of Mexico by Pope Pius XI, and the equally vile betrayal of the non-jurors in France to the Revolutionary Napoleon by Pope Pius VII, who then went into schism as the Petite Église.

Comments are subject to deletion if they are not germane. I have no problem with a bit of colourful language, but blasphemy or depraved profanity will not be allowed. Attacks on the Catholic Faith will not be tolerated. Comments will be deleted that are republican (Yanks! Note the lower case 'r'!), attacks on the legitimacy of Pope Francis as the Vicar of Christ (I know he's a material heretic and a Protector of Perverts, and I definitely want him gone yesterday! However, he is Pope, and I pray for him every day.), the legitimacy of the House of Windsor or of the claims of the Elder Line of the House of France, or attacks on the legitimacy of any of the currently ruling Houses of Europe.
